If you are a parent (or grandparent) just starting out on this homeschool journey or even if you are a veteran homeschooler, I'm sure you have discovered that there are so many homeschool curriculum options available on the internet, you don't know where to begin. We'll take a deep breath and relax.  We are here to help.  In fact, we have been providing help for homeschoolers just like you choose their homeschool curriculum for over 20 years. Whether you are looking for a few books or a complete curriculum, we will walk you through the whole process so that you are comfortable before you make your purchase. Offering old fashioned personal service in a high tech world is very important to us.

Our family helped pioneer the homeschool movement beginning back in the eighties. Back then the choices for homeschool curriculum were extremely limited. You couldn't just go to the internet for information.  In fact, that is why The Back Pack was conceived - to help homeschoolers get quality, inexpensive homeschool curriculum.  As they say - the rest is history!

We Know Textbooks!
Because we have been involved in the used textbook industry for so long, we know what works when it comes to curriculum for homeschooling. Should you choose to have us customize a complete curriculum for you, we will carefully evaluate every textbook before we ship it to you.  We will spend as much time as is necessary speaking with you while developing your curriculum package.  "Getting it right the first time" is our motto and we really mean it!  We treat our customers as we would want to be treated if we were spending our hard earned dollars on curriculum for homeschooling.  We strive to make sure you get MORE than your money's worth.  Ask about our freebies!

Special Note for Grandparents
We often get call from Grandparents who need homeschool curriculum.  Being grandparents ourselves, we have a soft spot for them.  We understand the sacrifice they are making and the obvious love involved in their decision to homeschool their grandchild or (in some cases) grandchildren.  Money is often an issue, so we work with them to be sure they get what they need at the price they can afford.  That takes me to another issue....

If you can't afford to purchase an entire Homeschool Curriculum Package:
We are willing to develop your entire curriculum package and ship it to you in two separate shipments. We will only charge you for the cost of the textbooks actually shipped. After helping you determine a shipping schedule that works best for you, the remainder of your order will be held in a special place in our shipping department.  Sort of like "layaway".

One more thing.... 
Our curriculum packages are developed using real textbooks, just like they use in public and private schools. They are often referred to as secular textbooks which just means traditional, non religious. Some parents wish to include a religious program with their curriculum package.  That's fine.  We have that too.
